We have another review up from the Grind And Punishment blog. I really dig this blog so I am stoked that they took the time to check us out.

Please go and check out that blog and support it. Good stuff going on there.
Side Note:
Something I've noticed about most of the reviews: most everyone seems to mention the 90's, throwbacks, revivalism, etc.
While I'm not complaining (at all, because 1. they took the time to listen and write about it and 2. they are generally all positive),
I'm just curious about it. Do we sound like we are trying to emulate a certain period of music and certain bands?
We are influenced by a lot of bands from the 90's, but we also get down on all kinds of music from all different times/genres. Maybe those influences just stick out a bit more.
Also, the recycled & screenprinted sleeves are not only a good ethical choice, but also much cheaper to do (thanks to Nevin and Joe from IFB/Seven Inches to Freedom putting in a lot of time and effort into them) And they are cool aesthetically. It seems though that some people get the impression that we did that to ape what some bands did in the 90's.
To a lesser extent, I hear people compare us to Punch. I absolutely don't hear it. I'm going to guess it's because we are fast and have a female vocalist.
Oh well. I'm glad that most folks seem to dig it. End of rant.
The show last night at the Thunderdome in Grand Rapids was awesome. Draize are amazing, go pick up their lp RIGHT NOW! Good vibes, good food, good bands, good turnout, good energy = perfect show.
Next up is Olde Jamestowne Hall in Saginaw. So pumped.
We are recording in early February. I can't wait to get these new songs out, and to get the Xtra Vomit split pressed on LP. Woo!
